Expertise in pricing and performance

The name POLYMER stands for products that will make your home more beautiful and make your life simpler. We attach great importance to a coordinated product range and set high standards in terms of durability of our designs.

History

POLYMER Kunststoffe GmbH was founded in 1982 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caleppio Charles Wolfsberger GmbH. From the outset, the company responded to the demand for unique products that would stand out from the run-of-the-mill range available in DIY and home improvement stores.
A factor that has had a key influence on the development of the company has been the ongoing cooperation with Westerwald-based PUSCH GmbH since 2003.

Following the successful launch of the X-BLOCKĀ® - the "brick made of plastic", cooperation between the two companies concentrated on the development of an ultra-design-orientated, high-quality canopy. The result - the LIGHTLINE canopy system - is an attractive combination of stainless steel, aluminium and high-quality acrylic glass - available in a range of sizes, colours and shapes to meet customer demand.

The overwhelming enthusiasm of the market to the canopy line spurred the company on to jointly develop and launch the LIGHTLINE railing system. POLYMER has been able to expand its position in the market by clearly focussing on DIY and home improvement products with an emphasis on quality and design. Design prizes, both in Germany and abroad, are proof of the success of this philosophy and corporate strategy. POLYMER has had a stronger presence on the international market since 2006 and is regarded as a reliable trade partner in every European country and in the USA.
